“I think someone laced my coke with something,” she muttered.
“No one laced your- You’re on cocaine?” Eddie finally glanced up.
“I’m sorry, that’s what you’re concerned about right now? Not the fucking… hellspawn that tried to break into my van?”
“You shouldn’t do that shit, Eddie, it’s not good for you.”
“Oh my god, shut up. You can evangelize after you explain what the fuck is going on!”
Eddie and Stevie start dating before the events of Vol. 2, but not all stories end in death.

Summary
It’s been five days since Eddie was brought in. Twelve since Wayne saw him last. All he wants is to hear his obnoxiously loud music blaring down the hall while he’s trying to sleep. He’s not ready for the day Eddie wakes up and the light is gone from his eyes.
---

And at the end of the day, or week, or month, he'll be able to talk to them again.Or: Wayne and Dustin are going through the same thing, loved ones healing from immense trauma while trapped within hospital walls. Summary
Eddie was instantly on his feet at the sound of knocking on his bedroom door. Three knocks, not four...Shit...He sucked down a shaky lungful of air and grabbed the nail-studded baseball bat by his bed, gripping it with trembling hands, tensing up and readying himself for a fight. He kicked open the door, with a battle cry. Hoping to catch his would-be murderer by surprise and land a few blows on them before he died. Eddie stopped mid-lunge and swore loudly, skidding to a halt and suffering a minor heart attack at the sight of the most beautiful man in all of Hawkins, standing all dishevelled and pretty at his bedroom door. Steve barely even flinched, didn’t even blink. He just looked entirely unimpressed by the display of violence in front of him.
"Jesus H Christ, Harrington! Really? Didn’t Dustin tell you about the four-knock rule? I was this close to fucking you up!" Steve let out a snort of laughter at the very idea. He just stood there, ignoring the pain in his side and the weapon looming inches from his impassive face.
"Rude, Eddie. The Munsons really don’t give a warm welcome, huh? Very aggressive. Now can I please come in? I’ll have you know that I invented the nail-studded baseball bat."

Summary
Eddie doubled over, clenching his lower abdomen and rocking the boat, nearly capsizing them. He bit down on his tongue, tasting rust as his gut churns, convulses, and heaves, attempting to expel the invasive force. Eddie’s breath caught in his throat, refusing to descend into his abdomen. His diaphragm spasmed, struggling to expand, to draw oxygen into lungs that felt compressed. His world narrowed to a singular, excruciating focus: the shredding, tearing, twisting horror within.
“Fuck!” He hissed through clenched teeth. In a frenzy, he yanked at the light fabric of his hellfire shirt, just to prove to himself that his bowels weren’t actively spilling out. As hands darted over unharmed flesh, his respite lagged. Eventually, reality snapped back and another visceral anguish overtook his trembling frame. His soulmate. The searing burn moved from encompassing his lower half to his eyes, his hands flew up, ringed fingers pulling back wet. He shook his head. no , no don’t do this.

Summary
“You're next of kin?” The doctor asked with surprise.
Wayne didn't let himself feel offended at her shock. If you’d told him a few years ago that one day he would be declaring himself Steve Harrington’s emergency contact in a hospital waiting room full of people he would have said you were living where the trains don't stop. Yet, there he was. Steve Harrington’s next of kin, primary contact, emergency contact, the person Steve wanted to be informed if anything happened to him.
The person Steve trusted with his health and wellbeing.

Summary
"I know where Eddie is."
Max scoffed. "Why didn't you just say that in the first place instead of letting us sneak around like idiots?!"
"I needed to know you wouldn't hurt him" she says, staring Steve's oar down pointedly, which he drops before sighing.
Robin, seeing the tensions are high steps in with her gentle eyes. "We wouldn't ever hurt Eddie intentionally. We just need to make sure he's safe."
She bristled at the meaning. "He is safe!-"
Steve was calmer, holding his hands up in surrender mode. "We aren't doubting your ability to keep him safe. We just meant that the Upside Down bad stuff... it might be happening again. "
They all went quiet, thinking but Dustin was still watching her and she could tell he figured it out. "It is happening again, isn't it."
Violet slowly nodded.

Summary
Eddie Munson has a broken beer bottle pressed to Steve Harrington’s throat when the door to the shed splinters and a gun cocks; a familiar chh-chh that resounds loud enough in the sudden ensuing silence that it breaks Eddie out of his death spiral.
“I ain’t one to mince words,” Wayne Munson says, staring down each and every pair of wide, ogling eyes. “So somebody better tell me why I got a dead girl in my trailer and my nephew’s name on the news.”

He’s always taken that approach to everything so, the first time he comes across a child in the middle of the woods, he tries his best not to be too quick to judge.
“Whatcha doing here, kid?” he asks.
The boy, apparently having been using the rifle he has to support his weight, as if it isn’t a deadly weapon nearly as tall as him, jumps. “Nothing,” he says, “...sir.”
Wayne blinks.

Summary
He knocks gently on the glass, and Steve flinches, his head jerking upwards and hitting the telephone box with a loud thud.
“I’m opening the door, okay, son?” Wayne says, before doing just that. He’s hit immediately with an armful of Steve, who sobs as soon as they make contact, and only with great difficulty do they avoid both toppling to the ground.
“It’s alright. It’s alright. I’ve got you, Steve. You’re safe now,” Wayne murmurs, shifting them both a little before wrapping his arms around Steve. He doesn’t stop sobbing, but he does hold on to Wayne a little tighter, as if afraid that won’t be the case if he doesn’t.

Steve hasn't seen Eddie since High School. When famous metal band Corroded Coffin comes to Indy for a benefit concert, Tommy gets him tickets.
He has ulterior motives.
Eddie hasn't played back near Hawkins since before his transition, thankfully everyone in the metal community is supportive. When a high school classmate shows up to his show, he's ecstatic. His asshole classmate showing up too? Not as great.
Tommy wants Steve. This concert is his ticket in. As long as he can keep Eddie from making the first move.
or
Tommy is an asshole, Steve tells him off, and Eddie finds out just how much he's loved.
