Queen Rapunzel of Corona was a kind, gentle, and bright soul, who cared so deeply about things, perhaps more than she should be. She believes too much of the best in people, and wants nothing but the best for the people of the kingdom. It almost seemed cruel she was born so high with a heart so full and big.
Forced to fight for her husband’s, the king, flippant attention.
An outcast in her own court just because the kingdom was at odds with Corona.
She kept her head high as best she could, but the misery was clear.

Varian hated this. As the heir to the Dark Kingdom, it's his duty to protect it as it falls into ruin. What he didn't sign up for was what 'protecting it' really meant - keeping his powers of the moonstone a secret while having to deal with six suitors from the other kingdoms for two months. What he definitely didn't sign up for was having to deal with the cheeky blond who just happened to be one of them.
Hugo, meanwhile, also hated this. He hoped that whatever this stone was going to do for Donella would be worth the effort.

Eugene sighed as he massaged his temple. It had been a very long day filled with very boring paperwork, but to him it was a small price to pay if it meant getting to help people. Eugene was part of the CPD, or the Corona Police Department, and he loved his job, but he loathed paperwork.
Shaking his head, Eugene picked up his pen to continue working on the files when Pete stepped in
“Deputy Chief,” he greeted.
“Officer Pete.” Eugene responded,
“The Chief and Assistant Chief are busy currently and need you to investigate a thug who was recently caught robbing a convenience store. He’s being held in detainment room 1.”Eugene walked down the halls to the detainment room. He wondered what this ‘thug’ looked like. Was he your run of the mill type of thief or was this a different case?
Out of all the things Eugene expected, a scrawny little kid was certainly not one of them….

When Eugene went to work that morning, he was expecting to come home with loads of paperwork and exhaustion. Something he definitely didn’t expect to be taking home was a kid….
