She knows enough about PTSD to know that this is survivor’s guilt she’s experiencing, but knowing doesn’t make it any better, doesn’t make it any easier to bear. It doesn’t help her to sort through all these thoughts swirling around inside her brain.
So instead, she takes pen to paper and starts writing.
