Summary
Plo Burgal is a bad padawan. And not in the fun sense, where they get into creative trouble and have adventures. Burgal is the kind of padawan that is weak in the force, bad with a lightsaber, abides carefully by the rules, and will probably never be a Jedi.
They are so bad at being a padawan that Consular Prenthid, the Jedi master that Burgal has been assigned to through a funny accident that neither of them finds very amusing (although one or two members of a subcommittee of the Jedi Council are still giggling about it), is caught completely flat footed when her careful studies of Tattoine's oddly portentous space in an oddly large number of Jedi Prophecies is rudely interrupted by a Hutt overlord demanding to see Burgal.
Burgal is a bad padawan, but perhaps they're not quite as free of creative trouble as Prenthid thought.
Sometimes, it felt like the will of the Force was messing with them.

Summary
In which Yoda is a troll, Plo Koon has a major problem that involves adopting any vaguely lonely looking sentient, Mace Windu is the only adult on the council and Yaddle and Ki-Adi-Mundi record everything.
Not for blackmail, for research and the preservation of knowledge. Blackmail is just a bonus.Depa gets dragged into their shit and cannot care at all.
The rest of the Jedi Council is involved. A little. As very wise and responsible adults. Yep, very wise. Very responsible. The most wise and responsible Jedi ever.

Summary
Obi-Wan hates it with a passion when his Master leaves him by himself in these dens in iniquity. The Force feels slimy here and it makes his visions worse in the next two-day cycle. And then, there are the Trandoshans to worry about.
