Summary
How does the story of this sun go, as she travels through the stars? Like so many others, this is a story of meetings, of chance encounters. Endless possibilities of what could be and what never was. How does one change the path well walked to a road less traveled? When sentiment rises above all else, the heart's will can alter the tale once carved in stone. What familiar fragments shall remain when the cracked foundation is torn asunder and rebuilt anew? Hello, new old story! What laughter and tears shall ever be familiar, and what new joys and sorrow shall join the chorus?
Mistakes and choices were made in the past and future, and now there are Four Warriors of Light who could all easily take center stage and be the hero. However, one does appear to shine brighter than the others, perhaps that's whom the story is meant for?
Even then, having FOUR Warriors of Light can't be a bad thing, right? The established timeline won't change that much...
Can it?

Summary
5.5-6.0 MSQ rewrite, focused on Gaia, a freed but depowered Elidibus, and remaining Sundered Ascians. I intend to follow the great strokes of Endwalker and rip it apart in order to give the Unsundered and the Ancient people as a whole the justice and catharsis I found to be… very sorely lacking in 6.0.
[Ch.9 – Gaia, Elidibus and Mitron discuss the meeting with the renegade Ascians, tackling guilt, hatred, legacy and judgement. And cultural relativism. Oh, and Hydaelyn's Sundering being unambiguously genocide—rest assured neither I nor this fic will be letting this go.]
Note: this is a post-SoS angry Elidibus who is a 12k year old, broken Themis. There is no real Elidibus/Themis personality split in my interpretation. If you're looking for a fluffy Themis who most definitely would never be Elidibus the Ascian calling you malformed creatures unworthy of their legacy
(he is correct, and in this 19-part essay I will–, you might not care for this.Currently on-going, and I hope to finish this one day. Anything that happens in canon after 6.0 is completely irrelevant to this.

this will be a story of my beliefs, why i believe the Ascian exists and how I discovered that their world actually exists and my soul came from their world originally. The Real ascians exist as Spirits here.
I am only sharing what I believe in, you do not need to believe it, and I am not forcing anyone to believe it either.
i have witnessed way too much spiritual events to conclude that they exist.
this story is NOT for skeptics or closed-minded people or any people who think spirituality is fake. allot of unexplainable (paranormal) events and occurrences and also confirmation found in books will appear in this story.
found other people who believed the same in chapter 6 and onwards and gained confirmation of my soul's past (prior to that its mostly dreams only). even confirmation from people who don't play the game that they exist.
i had to remove content of my story in order to have it back on ao3 again. check my twitter if you want to read more.

It is that time again! FFXIVWrite 2024 is upon us so here we go with another round! I suspect most of these will be short and sweet, scribbled down while riding inspiration and yeeted without editing because such is the spirit of this event! Hopefully I'll be able to stick with the full round, and hopefully you'll enjoy the results with me!
Updated and completed! Final entry: Day 30 - Two Heads Are Better Than One: Aliara receives unexpected but much-welcomed company as she sets out to investigate the origin of a mysterious and illegal substance being sold in Solution Nine.
It's over ;-; Many many thanks to my lovely friends, to Bookclub, to everyone reading and for all the kudos and comments, and the biggest of hugs to Moen for another incredible round!! ♥

Summary

Summary
While we have enjoyed endlessly the process of refining our writing skills writing for others in a myriad of contexts, ships and even fandoms of late, we've been craving a return to our own work and especially our main series. Finally, on the cusp ironically of Dawntrail, we're approaching the end of the Shadowbringers portion of Sarah's main series and bringing its established threads in line for our intended Endwalker rewrite to come. This fic will be a bit shorter than the previous two and is intended as a bridge to that rewrite from all we've written in Burden and Belonging so far.
Sarah, Hades, Luciane and their Ascian and Scion companions have emerged from their imprisonment in Amaurot changed in a multitude of ways now being reflected upon in the Crystarium as they prepare for a return to the Source. Sarah especially is confronted with her new Ascian existence and the reality of her shared mental companions in the form of Ardbert, Agape and Fray Esteem. She has a great deal she wishes to accomplish going forward as she moves to stop Fandaniel and Zenos' plans, whatever they may be. But what of what comes after? This too she hopes to explore with those around her in the coming days.

***MASSIVE ENDWALKER SPOILERS***
The Final Days have been averted, and the surviving Ascians left without direction. One of them, Alpheus, abandons his role as Pashtarot of the Convocation. Dark, twisted desires he has kept suppressed for eons are set loose, an obsessive "love" mixing with a desire to avenge his God. His wicked gaze falls first upon the Warrior of Light, none other than the reincarnation of the object of his ancient desires. Once Alpheus has her in his clutches, he sets about molding her into his vision of perfect submission. And after that... he only desires more.

Summary
A gift written for the lovely Spiderlily Writes, a dear friend of ours and metamour. Featuring her Warrior of Light Ranja Silverwillow becoming acquainted with the entire Ascian Convocation of Fourteen, featuring both OCs and NPC favourites. Current to 6.5 lore from Endwalker and Pandaemonium. Azem played by our own Warrior of Light Sarah in her configuration as a sundered Ascian Azem Persephone. Multiple ships. Pansexual chaos.
Ranja Silverwillow, Viera Warrior of Light and heroine to the Source, has fallen in battle. Her time draws to its end, as she slumps to the ground from one too many wounds. Alas, she is not to be granted Hydaelyn's peace, as she is saved at the last moment from death by a mysterious woman in a red and black mask. Upon coming to, she finds herself inside the Chrysalis, which she knows from memory as the gathering place of her longtime Ascian foes.
Here she is greeted by the assembling Convocation, as numerous Ascians begin to interact with her and enigmatically poke and prod at her as they prepare some manner of ritual involving her. To what end they have brought her here, she does not know, but it is about to be a very long night indeed...

Summary
“Remember us. Remember we once lived.” A bold request from a man who had forgotten so much. Not just the future's warning of the quickly approaching final days, but of the very distant past. When Amaurot was barren, nameless land. When there was no peace for longer than a moment thanks to the constant fighting between the sorcerers, Zodiark and Hydaelyn who hoarded the world's aether. Battles which pulled so many people into conflicts who just wanted to live in peace. Were one to travel this far into the past unknowingly, they would think they’ve stumbled upon a star in the midst of its end. Perhaps it was, perhaps it was meant to. There weren’t really heroes; not for lack of heroic people, mind you, there just wasn’t anyone for generations who could make a noticeable difference.
But such a thing wouldn’t stop Azem from trying.
Story takes place thousands of years prior to the days of the Ancients who weaved creation magic; setting up how the convocation came to be and how the world functioned long before Amaurot existed.

The road walked by the warrior of light is one of sorrow and trials, of enduring pain and despair so that hope may one day prevail. All of this is in preparation for the final challenge, to give an answer to one question. But what if Hydaelyn miscalculated and the warrior of light fell in a battle against the Angel of Truth before he could ever fulfill his purpose? Unless someone else takes on that burden, the world is fated to burn.

Chapter 18: You Are Sunlight
“Never leave me.” He was unsure if he had felt those words, or if one of the other two had transmitted that thought into his soul, but he wished for it with all his heart. He never wanted to be parted from either of them. Perhaps it was a selfish wish, but he would grant himself this one indulgence in this moment as his soul blended with the other two, three sets of thoughts forming into one.

ENDWALKER SPOILERS !!! 6.4 Spoilers Within!!!
This is a story about a Traveler. A story about how this Traveler lived her life before the Final Days. How she interacted with the people and her relationship with others.
A story, not about a hero, but about an ordinary woman, cheerful and bright like the Sun she has gladly taken the Seat as, before the breaking days of despair were doom before them.
Do not worry, the tales of despair do not taint these chapters.

Summary
“Is something the matter?” Thancred asked.
“It’s this stupid soulmark that’s been actin’ up recently. Ye’d think it’s tryin’ to tell me somethin’ new but it’s always the damn same—just that one, meaningless name.”
“You… have a soulmark?”
As if hoping to see with his own eyes, he gripped her wrist and brought her palm up for a closer inspection. Started tracing every curve and line with his index finger, squinting in deep concentration while he mouthed imperceptible words.
“Ye sayin’ ye don’t?”
“Not on this body.”
“This body?” A snort escaped her, not only for his remark but the ticklish feeling in her palm as his fingers danced across her skin. “Like ye ‘ave a closet full o’ them, huh?”
Distracted by the fervid sensation that amplified the more Thancred brushed his thumb across her skin, she took little notice of his silence. The flicker in his eyes, a sudden pallor on his face, and the wry twists of his mouth.
“A poor joke, I admit,” he offered at last before reluctantly releasing her hand. “But soulmarks are not as common as you might think.”
“They ain’t?”
“No.”
