Summary
Instead of the usual "Mirabel runs away" or the "Bruno runs away with Mirabel" we're adding a third party in Dolores. Because I feel horrible for her as someone who experiences sensory overload due to my autism.
So, with Mirabel and Dolores in tow, Bruno and the girls start a new life outside the Encanto. The family falls apart without them, and Alma doesn't make the situation better.
Updates will be sporadic, I work full time and this is a HOBBY.
In the process of re-editing/refining the old chapters. I am my own beta.

Alma is pleased when her triplets get Gifts. She's not worried when little Isabela doesn't get a door. Why would her nietos get Gifts? She never expected it.
Then Pepa's Dolores gets a door and the amazing ability to conjure any type of flower she wants.
Bruno's vision shows Luisa not getting a door either. Alma is devastated, but she knows who's at fault.
Agustin, that useless, clumsy idiot. He was bad for Julieta.
Update: Tempers flare, cracks form, and Mirabel finally faces that death she's known about for so long.
*Someone suggested this AU. The cool familia get their Gifts on their Quince instead of at five. My reasoning is their Gifts will be more powerful, something a five year old can't control. Mirabel is still the same, even though she's Bruno's daughter here. She gets a door, it disappears. Bruno has a plan to stop her heartbreak.*

One that wouldn't cause the hurt he had suffered from in his own childhood.
Even after Casita crumbled, there were still a few people who cursed his name—and those people hadn't hesitated to curse his other children's names when they thought no one could hear it.
They cursed him and Cyriacus for being able to see the future.
They cursed Rick for being a human lie detector and Cesare for being able to read mines.
They avoided Cornel at all costs when he started seeing the dead and they always looked at Claudine with suspicion after she had started turning invisible.
The only ones of his children who had been safe so far were Rachel, who had sewing animation as a gift which suited well, and Rory—who hadn't gotten his gift yet.
Bruno had knocked on wood, threw salt over his shoulder, and prayed that Rory’s gift wouldn't be harmful to him or cause him to be the next town pariah.
So of course his youngest son would end up with the inverse of his and his brother's gift.

He losses most of his memories and builds a life in the village that takes him end until he is fifty when he and his family have to flee back to the Encanto side of the village. His family that was still in Encanto think he died or ran away twenty-four years ago and don't recognize him.
