Shiro meant white- 白 (shiro, “white”)-, her skin was as light as it got. It wasn't supposed to be like that. She had regained some scars and roughness (both in her heart and out, on her skin) she had in another life but she couldn't regain her color. Seeing Izana's perfect skin, precious eyes, wonderous hair... it caused her such a nouseous feeling of nostalagia, it was no wonder she cried as often as she did now.
