Summary
Thirty minutes later there’s a knock on the door, and after whining about how this is Wayne’s guest so he should be the one to get the door, Eddie sighs and opens it to reveal-
“Steve Harrington?” Eddie shakes off the shock and flashes him a mocking grin. “Well, well, well, what are you doing on the wrong side of town, Your Highness? Did you get lost?”
The title makes Steve’s nose wrinkle but he lets it slide. “Actually, your uncle invited me.”
Eddie’s jaw drops. “You’re our guest?”
With a shrug, Steve makes a ta-da! gesture. Eddie stares blankly at him.

Summary
Maria Elizabeth knew very well that her first and only child with Al Munson would be seen not as a kid or another human being, but as something to earn money with - especially if they were so different as to being half of a creature that for centuries people thought was a myth.
Years later, Eddie Munson wants to face the man who is arranging a marriage for them and finally be free of his shadow.
A map from Wayne, company by Chrissy and his kitty Arwen, a new friendship from Robin and Nancy, and maybe, just maybe, a new something with Steve Harrington.

Summary
Eddie doesn’t know why he agreed to this. Scratch that—he does know why, and it’s even worse than not knowing. His publicist insisted it would be “good for his image,” and the record label had jumped on that idea. And that’s how Eddie Munson—lead guitarist of Corroded Coffin, occasional D-list metal god—ended up here: rocking nervously on his heels under the unrelenting fluorescent lights of the Worst Cooks in America television set.
He shifts his weight, forcing a polite smile at people he vaguely recognizes but doesn’t actually know. It’s all fine—uncomfortable, but fine—until his eyes land on him.
Steve Harrington. Not a D-list celebrity but world-famous actor Steve fucking Harrington.

Summary
In the 80s, Eddie Munson and Corroded Coffin rose to fame under H&H Records management. With two successful albums, the band started their second national tour in 1989 and seemed to be on the path to becoming one of the greatest metal bands of all time. But something went wrong somewhere, and the tour was cut short when Corroded Coffin announced an unexpected hiatus.
No one knows exactly what happened, and the members of the band were radio silent. Until now.
After almost 8 years, Corroded Coffin is back and things seem to be good, or so Eddie Munson hopes, because between making music again and hitting the road knowing very well how the tour life was partially responsible for his breakdown in 1989, he needs things to be good.
And as if things weren't complicated enough, Eddie seemed to think it would be a good idea to invite his ex-boyfriend -and the love of his life– to tour with them, now that child star and famous pop singer Steve Harrington wanted to broaden his musical horizons.
It's like Eddie Munson is asking for something to go wrong as he tries to balance his new tour, his rocky relationship with his ex and the fact that all his past secrets don't seem to want to stay hidden.

Summary
After seeing everyone off, Steve comes back, smiling when he sees Eddie. “So the gift is in my room–”
“Steve.” Eddie grabs his arm before he starts guiding them upstairs. “You didn’t have to buy me anything. I didn’t buy you anything. I blew through my weed money to get Nancy that curling iron for Secret Santa–”
“Eddie, it’s okay. Besides, I didn’t actually buy it–”
Eddie narrows his eyes. “You made me something?”
Steve purses his lips. “Not exactly.”
Before Eddie can ask what he means, Steve grabs his hand and drags him towards his room.

Summary
You can do it. Just get out of the car. Just pull the handle, open the door, and put your feet on the concrete. That’s all you have to do. Think about the rest after. Just do that. Just pull the fucking handle, Eddie.
Fifteen minutes he’s been sitting in the goddamn car at the bottom of Steve’s driveway, tucked behind the hedge so nobody can see him. Luckily, nobody has walked past yet to witness him, in all of his humiliating glory, unsuccessfully peptalking himself into moving. It’s not that he hasn’t made any progress. He has actually managed to turn off the engine and take his seatbelt off.
The problem is, that all he can see in his head is the younger version of himself and the van he almost crashed—the hedge he almost crashed into and ruined. He’s not even sure what happened to the van. He never asked for it back. Never wanted it. Without the band and the need for a spot to smoke weed, it was kind of useless and the memories too painful. He hopes Steve scrapped it. It’s what it deserved.Eddie struggles after the events of the Upside Down, and it takes leaving to heal. Five years later, he comes back.

Summary
“It was a good plan!” Eddie protests, crossing his arms. They hurt a little from spending all afternoon hanging mistletoe around Steve’s house, hoping to end up under it with him.
“It was a dingus plan,” Robin huffs. “A good plan would’ve been to tell Steve you wanna kiss him.”
Eddie rolls his eyes. “And where’s the fun in that, Buckley?”
“Oh because you’re having so much fun watching Steve make out with everyone except you,” she says, her voice dripping with sarcasm.
“There hasn’t been any making out!” Eddie says through gritted teeth.
There was a sloppy kiss to Robin’s forehead, a quick kiss to Argyle’s cheek, and an awkward peck to Nancy’s lips.
“Not yet,” Robin says, gesturing at Steve standing under another mistletoe with Jonathan this time.

With the help of ‘That’s So True’ by Gracie Abrams, Eddie and Steve are, once again, idiots in love.
Steve saved his life, so it would be hard not to feel anything for the guy who’s also now somehow turned out to be an actual good dude, right?
The closer he gets, the more Eddie likes him. Steve makes a move one day, and Eddie’s fucking doomed now - what choice does he have but to fall in love with him?
And then Dustin says that Robin is Steve’s girlfriend. And… maybe it’s obvious to you where this is going, but, as previously stated, they’re both idiots and are extremely dumb.Series

Summary
He doesn’t want to keep Steve waiting and risk missing their movie so with a sigh, Eddie grabs a denim jacket instead.
“That’ll do,” he says, checking himself in the mirror before opening the door to reveal–
Steve in his leather jacket.
“Hi, Eds,” he says, wiggling his fingers.
Eddie tries not to swallow his tongue but Steve is wearing his jacket and he looks hot. He’s pretty sure he’s had a few fantasies that start like this.
“Uh, hey,” he says once he finally gets his brain working again. “I was looking for that.”

Summary
He gives his outstretched hand a pointed look. “So again I ask…what do you say, my liege?”
Steve’s lips twitch. Eddie thinks he’s gonna say no. Which is dumb. They’ll be pretending to date in front of Steve’s parents for one day tops. It’s not like it’s gonna be x-rated. This’ll be fine. It’ll be fun. If Steve says yes.
Eddie watches as the guy filters through a number of emotions, contemplating it all. People say shit about Steve being dumb, but Eddie’s never really gotten that. The guy isn’t dumb. He just takes his time to think shit through. Like now. So Eddie waits.
Rather suddenly after the consternation, Steve slaps his palm against Eddie’s and shakes his hand in two hard pumps. “I say show up Friday night at six. We’re going to have dinner with my parents.”
Eddie thinks ‘fuck yeah’ at the same time as some part of him, deep down, thinks ‘oh no.’

Summary
The nurse looks up at him with an apology in her eyes, like pity, and it angers him. It angers him because she had no reason to look at him like that, she just assumed the worst when Eddie didn’t want to. She clears her throat, “Sir, please, calm down. Can I help you?”
Eddie’s chest is heaving, his face red and tear-streaked. He looks like he’s just run a marathon, clothes rumpled and sweat soaked. He’s sure his hair is in similar disarray as a few curly strands fall on the surface below him, his scalp stings with the memory of pulling his hair out, throbbing like his tongue that he bit through. It’s swelling up now and it’s even more difficult to speak, emotional turmoil aside. For a moment he wishes Robin would materialize in thin air at his side and do the speaking for him, the same way he made Steve order for him in restaurants — not because he was shy but oppositely that he wasn’t shy enough and would say the wrong thing . His nails dig into the flesh of his palm as he realizes there’s no robin to save him because she’s still trying to find a parking spot, and there is no Steve because he’s—- he’s—
