Summary
“Who is our ace?”
That’s the damned question. That’s the damned question he’s been trying to avoid, and by the way Matsukawa looks at him, he knows it.
Oikawa shuts his eyes. “Mattsun.”
“Who is our ace, Oikawa?”
“Mattsun.”
“Matsu, hey, lay off-”
“Makki is, Mattsun, who else?”
He chokes on the words. It feels like a betrayal. Even to Oikawa himself it sounds like a lie. He doesn’t open his eyes, doesn’t see Matsukawa’s expression, but he can imagine it just as well.
“You don’t believe that, Oikawa.”
Oikawa exhales, shakily, before walking again - this time, at a faster pace, intentionally leaving the other two behind. One of them tries to follow him - the other holds him back.
Matsukawa is right, after all. Oikawa doesn’t believe himself either.
OR: Iwaizumi Hajime is dead. Of course, Oikawa Tooru hasn't really admitted that to himself yet.
OR OR: Aoba Johsai loses their ace after Inter-High, and they scramble to pick up the pieces.

Summary
Oikawa Tooru loved him team. He loved them all in different ways- in no way did he love Makki or Mattsun as much as he did his Iwa-chan, but he held his team high in his heart.
His team loves him too, cause they're a family- a weird, loud, and rude family.AKA: a fic where I indulge the idea of friends showing a certain friend they love them- AKA several times Oikawa's team shows him they love him and are protective over him in their own ways.

Summary
A scene. A dinner table before a game. Drinks line the table, the same amount as the number of players clustered around it, and then one extra. Voices overflow and spill out across each other, bantering and laughing.
Oikawa looks up and out across the street. He’s opposite a window that takes up almost the entire front wall. Outside is a narrow two-way street, cars stopped at the set of traffic lights on the intersection where the restaurant occupies one corner.
Movement catches his eye and there’s Watari, on the other side of the road. There are others walking past, but they are faceless and don’t stop. Watari turns and raises his hand in half a salutation. Oikawa raises his own in return. The drink, the empty seat across from him- yes, they were for Watari.
The libero begins to step out into the road, and suddenly his eyes flit to the left. Staring at something just beyond Oikawa’s field of vision.
There are screams.
Everything jolts.

Summary
The strength of Shinji’s conviction had been measured in the first five minutes of joining Seijoh volleyball.
The new kids were lined up in front of the coaches and the returning members for introductions, but Shinji already knew exactly who he wanted to impress when he announced that he would be a setter. It was impossible to play volleyball in Miyagi and not know the name of Seijoh’s starter; for Shinji, it was impossible to play without thinking of him. If you wanted to be a great setter, you wanted to be Oikawa Tooru.
Being on Seijoh means Watari is always watching someone else's back.
