Summary
After the sudden and tragic death of her mother, fifteen-year-old Taco finds herself moving back to Inanimate Isles, the tiny American town she used to live in before she left with her mom to England after her parents' divorce. Even though a lot has changed quite a lot in the near decade she'd been away, a still-grieving Taco finds comfort in the fact that many things—like her old childhood friends—haven't changed a bit since she left.
But then one day, Taco discovers something that she most likely wasn't supposed to. Instead of trying to forget it, however, she becomes determined to get to the bottom of things, no matter what.
But little does she know, the truth runs so much deeper than she could ever know or imagine. And as things grow more complicated both in and out of school, Taco and her friends come to the realization that a certain technological company is more connected to them and this town than they initially thought.

Salt is going on a race on who is gonna bring the gifts first, they say only the people who care about their partner bring it first. Becoming the strangest, yet heartwarming birthday experience that OJ and Paper will never forget.

Even in the dark times Mepad still pursues, still comforts and most of all, still loves, and the more Balloon watches him - the more they fall in love with him. They’ve never really talked, honestly, it’s just been Balloon watching him on the sidelines. Mepad is everything Balloon isn’t - loved - and very loved at that. Except by Toilet, and really, no one liked Toilet - sometimes Balloon felt bad for them, but then they remembered how Toilet treated them, and suddenly, they wouldn’t feel that bad anymore.

MePhone4 ends up injured through actions none of them know yet. OJ chooses to keep an eye on him during the recovery process, both to make sure he doesn't cause any problems, but to see if he could find out what happened.
As they spend time together though, feelings escalate.
