Summary
Soap hates cigarettes. Only really smokes when he’s got a few drinks in him, but Ghost is offering and he's not going to say no. He pinches it between fingers that are definitely not shaking and sticks it between lips that are definitely not at war with a grin.
“Got a light, too?” His words are muffled around the smoke, and Ghost finally looks at him. His eyes are crinkled above the dark line of his mask and his voice is low when he drawls his response.
“Gotta bring everything for you, do I?”
Soap’s mouth loses the war and quirks up at the edges.
“Only decent to light a man’s smoke when you’ve offered him one, no?”
***
Ghost is a paramedic haunted by his past and daunted by the future. Soap is an accident and emergency nurse who lives for the thrill of the moment and never slows down. When chance brings them together, it offers them an opportunity to learn a thing or two from each other. When tragedy strikes, are the things they've learnt enough to get them through?

Summary
Ghost returns from a solo mission bruised and battered, wanting only to head off alone to rest, but Price intervenes, ordering him to the infirmary to get checked out. Frustrated and pissed, Ghost goes to keep the peace, only to be confronted and assessed by a new medic with bright blue eyes, a ridiculous haircut, and quite the cocky attitude.
Little did Ghost know this chance meeting would alter the course of his life forever and would send him down a path of love and hardship like he'd never known before. Nothing had ever come easy for Ghost, and the sudden addition of a flirty, spit-fire Scottish medic in his life was no exception. It's all he can do to stay sane as he navigates through new confusing and complicated relationships, all while trying to keep the people he cares about alive and breathing when the dark, devious acts of evil men threaten to take away everything he holds dear.

Summary
He's never been a fan of defusing explosives. It's never as simple as cut the red wire, enter this code into that console—there's always something tricky, something to make you nervous and on edge, which seems sensible considering the possibility of ejecting your arse two floors up.
He'd love for Soap to have that one magical red wire he could simply cut through and make it all normal, but there is none. He can't make out any wires because right now Soap is made of all the wires the world has to offer, a bundle of emotions and C4, and he's not sure how to untangle it without making any more mess.
Alternatively, Soap fucks around, Ghost's leg finds out. It's hard to guess where a guilt trip might take you.
And then there are the e-mails. -

Summary
“You’re doing good, Simon,” Soap says idly, switching out the cotton and disinfectant for bandages.
Ghost grunts, shuffling against the hard floor. “By the time you’re done, our exfil will have had time to stop for drinks.”
He raises an exploratory hand to touch the marred skin, but Soap swats it away. He captures the hand in his own offhand, lacing his fingers with his lieutenant’s and squeezing in apology. After a moment, Ghost squeezes back.
“Round of bourbon on you, tonight?” Ghost asks, a sly smile playing at his full lips. His voice is strained from trying to jostle his injury as little as possible, but the familiarity of his deep teasing tone makes Soap’s head cloudy.
“You propositioning me, Ghost?” Soap asks, incredulous laughter bubbling out of his chest.
Ghost gets injured on a mission, so Soap patches him up.
