We need to get you back to Hogwarts.” Sebastian took off his robe and quickly wrapped it tightly around Edward’s side, hoping to staunch at least a little bit of the bleeding. Fresh blood already began to leak through the cloth. With shaking hands, Sebastian hooked Edward’s arms around his neck and hoisted him up onto his back. Edward lay limply against Sebastian's cold, rain-soaked shirt. “Stay awake, Edward. You must stay awake!” Sebastian said, squeezing around him tightly. The nearest floo spot was just outside of the forest.
OR
On a dreary, rainy day Sebastian and Edward (main player character) go after a group of poachers inside The Forbidden Forest.

It's 1892 and our eleven year old Albus Dumbledore is finally at Hogwarts. His father is in prison, his sister is broken, but this is his chance to be noticed for his own magic. His own merits.
We meet his fellow first years, who are all finding their footing in his new and exciting home. We meet older students, taken by Albus' quiet charm and incredible precocious magic, fighting their own battles with pureblood society, expectations and family trauma.
We meet professors who just want to get their students through the school year intact, and who maybe also want to propose to the local bartender. And what's up with the headmaster? And what is that funny feeling in the dungeon?
This is a canon-compliant, fanon-inspired, queer-friendly romp through 1890's Hogwarts.

Florence Woods is thrown into Hogwarts as a fifth year student. Aesop Sharp doesn't think that the stories he's hearing from her and his friend and colleague, Eleazar Fig, quite add up. So, obviously, he begins his own quasi-investigation into her strange entrance and behaviour at school.
A retelling of the Hogwarts Legacy plot but with a few creative liberties and focusing on all the juicy, heartbreaking, traumatic stuff really.
