Summary
Amidst the dawn of the twenty-first century, the Warners are thrust headfirst into the world of modern technology and social media, as well as the stress, anxiety, and self-esteem issues that come with it. And that isn't even their biggest problem. Their old show has just been cleared for a revival and once upon a time, they couldn't've wanted anything more. Now, though, it means that they have to deal with that as well as developing problems for and between each of them.
As the eldest, Yakko Warner takes it upon himself to bear his sibs' burdens as well as his own, while simultaneously attempting to repair the ever-growing rift between Wakko and Dot. But juggling that, filming for the reboot, and appearing okay for the public image will inevitably become too much.
But it's for their sakes that he won't let his brave face falter.
For his sibs, for the execs, for the fans, for everyone but himself.

Life has never been worse for Chicken Boo. Not only hasn't he been brought back to the reboot of "Animaniacs", of which he was a part of, but now he is being blamed and cancelled by the public... for a crime he didn't commit! Everyone is accusing him of trying to hunt down the cast of the show, including the Warners. He might've been angry at not being included, but he certainly wasn't going to do such a thing, for he cared for all of the cast, especially the Warners, and he is confused why they haven't spoken up for him.
That is, until one day, they appear at the door, confused and lost...
This is just the tip of the iceberg. This only leads to a bunch of discoveries that only reveal more of the dark stuff happening behind the reboot of one of the most succesful animated series of the nineties.

Being thrown in a water tower for all of eternity wasn't enough, apparently. It's not like the studio was in desperate need of three zany cartoon children for yet another cash grab, but here they were-- back at it again with a whole new set of adventures.
