Summary
Noé’s condition is unfortunate: although the bullet wounds and various other injuries didn’t affect him nearly as much as they would a human person, they alone were severe enough to land him in bed upon returning, weakening his immune system enough for the continuous rain to give him… a common cold. Having been sleeping the entire day, he had previously been very restless in his bed, but Dominique de Sade touched his forehead then, brushing the hair away from it, after which Noé’s eyes fell closed and he has been sleeping through the hours.
There are many things Vanitas doesn’t like about this situation.
