“I’ve tried everything,” Archie interrupts, drawing out the last word. The house is silent and empty around them.
Wolfe sighs again, his shoulders heaving, then slowly shifts his vast bulk sideways to make space on the bed. Quick as a whip, Archie darts over and slips under the covers, cuddling much closer than is necessary.- Language:
