Gook Du has always admired Min Hyuk from afar, ever since high school. It takes a long time before he realizes that his feelings may run deeper than that. Years later, when Min Hyuk is at the center of an abduction case, Gook Du has the opportunity to take a step closer towards his subconscious crush. Between solving cases and piquing the interest of Ainsoft’s eccentric CEO, will Gook Du ever be able to close the gap, or is he doomed to never realize his true feelings?
Canon Divergence. Gook Du and Bong Soon are still childhood friends; Gook Du still grows up to become a cop, and Min Hyuk is still CEO of Ainsoft. Main change, other than storyline, is Min Hyuk's a transfer student at Gook Du and Bong Soon’s high school. Also, I know nothing about the Korean school system other than what little I understand from watching dramas, so please excuse any factual inaccuracies. Other things to expect—slow burn, comedic moments, but ultimately a heavily romance-infused crime thriller filled with suspense. Trigger warnings for graphic criminal violence. Majority of tags pertain to the crimes depicted in the story and not Gook Du and Min Hyuk's relationship.
