A slight Rewrite of Scott and Zelda's "The Great Gatsby" as well as a few play off in the 2013 film where it has the main events of the original story but Nick and Gatsby are canonically gay. I really haven't decided yet, I have no idea where I'm taking this.

Starts off a bit straight, sorry, it's just for funsies

Au where Gatsby loves Nick instead of Daisy but Nick is a frazzled writer who kind of wants nothing to do with Gatsby and his glamoured lifestyle.

    Summary

Everyone thinks Jay Gatsby died that day when George Wilson shot him, but he didn’t…
His butler arrived in time to rush them both to the hospital, saving both men. A few days later, upon the man’s (SUPPOSED) death bed, Gatsby confesses that although ‘he’ was the one to run over Myrtle, he wasn’t the one Myrtle had an affair with and when she ran out she was calling out for none other than Tom Buchanan. Enraged, Wilson swears revenge on Tom and everyone he loves…
All the while, Daisy discovers she is pregnant with Gatsby’s child while in Paris. She knows immediately that she must keep and raise the child as she would have with her Jay as he would have wanted if he was there with her.
Nearly a year later, a few weeks after the birth, while Pammy is out and Tom and Daisy are fighting over the fate of Daisy’s newborn daughter, Jade, tragedy strikes. Tom is shot by someone, and Daisy is about to be to when she is saved by her old flame.
At the funeral, they meet again and decide to raise their child up quietly in Louisville, where they met… but what happens when the murderer that killed Tom and is still after Dasiy finds them nearly twelve years later?

Another work in the Albumful of Drabbles! This one was a little easier to write, so hopefully it's better, too!

    Summary

A TV miniseries adaptation of The Great Gatsby based on the original novel. Written in a rough screenplay format. This script aims to honestly portray overlooked queer aspects of the original story as well as reimagine certain elements to add commentary relevant to the modern day.

Basically, it's gays, guys. Enjoy this weird, pretentious trash.

    Summary

This is a story about a rich man in love, a man who has enough secrets to fill a lifetime. The man's name is Gatsby, Jay Gatsby. Gatsby lived on the west egg and was new money, meaning he came upon a large fortune late in his life, that does not mean he was old. In fact, he was a healthy 32 year old, although healthy is a strong word because:

    He was a lovesick fool.

    Nick felt like screaming.
Understand what? Understand who? Does Daisy understand Gatsby now? Did she ever? If she had - if she ever did - then how could she not know what this evening had meant to him? Jay Gatsby, for all intents and purposes, was so close to combusting from the inside out tonight that Nick had thought more often than not of taking shelter. All of this planning, all of this money — all of this time! — put into a nightly escapade of the futile wooing of an immovable person.
