Summary
Everything had gone wrong. The Divine Dragon Lumera had been defeated by the Fell Dragon Sombron, and the Emblems had been scattered across Elyos. Lumera's daughter Alear fled, leaving Elyos's people to fend for themselves as Sombron's Corrupted descended on the land led by the Four Hounds. No matter how much they prayed, no one answered their calls.
As if he could not be more cruel, Sombron decides to take a captive. For Diamant, it was a nightmare that he couldn't wake up from. All he could do was watch as Alcryst had been taken away while his prayers were left unanswered. As time trickled by, Diamant grows more wary and desperate to find away to bring his brother home.
Then one day, Alear returns.

Summary
“And that is why we’re here,” Sombron replied. “You do not care about you. You care about Veyle, though. Such attachments are a problem, you insolent child, and this is exactly why. I will beat it out of you, and her, one way or another.”

Summary
The war 1000 years ago was thought to have been straightforward. A simple black and white good vs evil conflict. The Fell Dragon had threatened Elyos’ peace and the last Divine Dragon along with a red haired traitor stopped him. That much is true in many worlds involving Elyos. However, this Elyos’ war was not so simple. It was a war born of a tragedy. A tragic war stemming from a forbidden love that would rage like wildfire a thousand years ago with far reaching consequences ultimately reigniting Elyos in flame once again in the present.
The tale begins with the calm before the storm. Lumera would be debating with her brethren on the merits of how the Divine Dragons governed humanity.

Summary
Lament. For the life that ran too short. For the life that was too painful. For the misery that should never have been faced at all. Alear, or more accurately the being Alear had once been, knew all of these feelings far too well.
This, however, is not the tale you think it's going to be.
Or, one of those 'reincarnated as the villainess' fics but we're forcing Alear into the role of the reincarnated minor villain and Veyle is the protagonist.
