He felt whole again. Complete. Like he wasn’t about to fall apart at the seams.

She had lost almost everything in one night, and she didn't know what to think. She trusted Wilbur with her life; he had been the one to raise her ever since her father threw himself entirely into his work to cope with the loss of her mother and put the burden of parenting onto a caretaker android, Wilbur.
"I'm sorry, Papi; I didn't mean to worry you anymore!" Talullah cried into the front of Wilbur's sweater.
Wilbur only hugged her tighter, hushing her with soft-spoken reassurances, telling her nothing she could do would ever upset him. He lifts his head, resting his chin on her head, scanning, and taking in their surroundings, all while a small circle flashing red light on his temple continues to blink, much to his annoyance. He sighs, closing his eyes, and gently runs his fingers through her thick hair, mindful of knots.
"It's okay, Lullah; I've got you."OR Tallulah, a human and Wilbur, a deviated caretaker android, runaway searching for a temporary safe haven, Quackity's only job is to stop the revolution; deactivate all deviants at any cost.

Summary
He doesn’t realize there’s someone already sitting in his seat until he's standing right in front of them, half blinded by the light, and is taking an abrupt step back. The person doesn’t turn to look at him, and Quackity isn’t sure they’ve noticed him, their head of brown curls turned towards the windows. He nearly walks out, taking note that the person looks dangerously pale, and he’s fairly sure they’re sick. After a beat of silence, he begins the process of taking slow, retreating steps back, plastering an awkward smile on his face. “Sorry. Didn’t see you there.”
There’s a few moments where the person keeps their head turned away, silent and unmoving, and Quackity’s sure they didn’t hear him until their head snaps towards him, and wild brown are eyes meeting his, and a slow, exhilarated smile plasters itself on their face.
“You can see me,” The stranger says to him, breathless and near a whisper, and for a blissful few moments Quackity is horribly confused. Eventually, confusion turns to a horrified understanding, and his stomach drops.
Not pale, he realizes. Translucent. A ghost.
or, Quackity can see ghosts. Wilbur makes this infinitely more complicated than it should be. (INCOMPLETE)

“Ooookay…” he drags out his words, not believing him in the slightest. Quackity rolls his eyes in front of him, crossing his arm like a child. “What do you need then?”
“Can you take care of Tilin today? I have. A thing,” he says suspiciously, and suddenly pulls out his kid that Phil didn’t even notice was there from behind his back, holding him in front of him like you would with a cat.
He blinks slowly, looking down at Tilin who's playing with the ends of her bow and wiggling while trying to get out of Quackity’s improper hold.
‘Quackity was not meant to take care of a child…’ he thinks to himself, then stops leaning on the doorway to stand up straight. He looks back up from Tilin, and Quackity is looking at him smiling, looking like his head is completely empty. He decides he doesn't wanna ask the shorter man what his “thing” is.

It was a silly, hopefully harmless bet. Chayanne was pulled away by Richarlyson, Ramón and Dapper and the boys fell into a conversation, the girls pushing them aside to fit into the circle as well, hands signing faster than Wilbur could even keep up, Richarlyson nodding along holding his chin. They seemed to have come to an agreement and Chayanne walked up to Quackity with an extended arm while Tallulah had a particularly smug look on her freckled face.
"Deal."
He then looked directly into Quackity's eyes and then his gaze was directed at his older brother, Tallulah stepping up next to him.
"So, what's on the table if you pass the exam?" Wilbur asked as he tilted his head, peeking a glance at Quackity. Has he always been this handsome?The kids all snickered with wide grins when Chayanne finally started signing, turning to look at Quackity again.
"We want you and Wilbur to get married."
Or, in which Quackity makes the mistake of losing a bet against Chayanne and now he has to get married to his co-worker (friend? best friend? crush?).
