Exactly one year ago, I planned out this story and published the first chapter with the second chapter published as soon as possible. I am very happy with my work and I have had excellent comments and feedback from people I personally had read it. So, my gift to you guys is this same Danganronpa story - but completely revamped! I will be out of school for a few weeks, so I decided to put more heart and determination into this story as I did the first day I wrote it. I have so many big plans for this plot and I can't wait for you all to see the final product! Please share this story with friends, family, and any other Danganronpa lovers out there! The Ultimate Spy Twins, Akira Iwasaki and Ayato Iwasaki are trapped in a school with their new classmates. An odd, mechanical bear who goes by "Monokuma" falsely offers them their freedom back ONLY if someone were to murder another. Monokuma has gone weeks of giving out motives as the students fall into a hole of insanity and madness and slowly start to give in. It is up to Akira and Ayato to lead their classmates out of the despair and to find out who their captor is.

Here's a small thought: What would you do if you lost all your memories? What would you do if after that, you were thrown in a death game with 16 other strangers?
That's the situation Rin Wakuri finds himself in, if that even is his name. He wakes up in the Ultimate Academy for Gifted Juveniles with no memories at all to tell him why he's there or who he is. He isn't even sure he's an Ultimate, despite the others believing he is. But something is strange about this situation. It's almost like Rin wasn't suppose to be here at all, as Monokuma and the Monokubs don't seem to know who he is or why he's in the killing game. Even stranger, Rin seems to have information he shouldn't that seem to appear to him in random thoughts and visions. Is he insane? Or is there something that's giving him this knowledge? Is there a reason he knows this stuff?
Rin doesn't know, but he's determined to do his best to help everyone in this killing game. He just hopes he doesn't die in the process.

Essentially I was daydreaming when I thought up this scenario. It's going to follow the main cast of D2 and D1 from the canon events that happened after D3, so the cast of D2 leave to live on their own on an island, and the D1 cast reopen the school. The characters of DV3 also make an appearance in this, so I'll be following the fan theory that DV3 is an alternate universe where Ryota ended up using the hope hypnotizing video on the world. I'll be adding a lot of personal headcanons in this, so if something doesn't add up, take it as an alternate universe unfolding or whatever.
For obvious reasons, there will be mentions of suicide, murder, and other horrible things, so if you don't want to see stuff like that, don't read it please. Mental health comes first.

So, Monokuma thought of a motive called the "flashback motive" and the forced participants *have* to read their letters or they will be punished by the exisals. This motive effects every single one of the forced participants, their letters explain their fears and what'll happen if they hear what's on their letter. Some are words some are phrases. This motive in particular leads a certain 'compulsive liar' off the edge and the other students have to find out how to deal with him, as the only one this short purple haired boy is close to is, Rantaro Amami the ultimate 'who knows' and Rantaro is in very critical condition at the moment and too afraid to speak as he was attacked by one of his "friends" so this short boy has nobody to comfort him since he doesn't trust anyone but Rantaro, but he does grow close to a very creepy anthropologist, a short red haired "mage", and a tall unconfident detective who help him through this. What will the duel-colored bear named Monokuma do now that his plan is being flawed? Will he do something to the purple haired boy again? Or will he do something to someone closely related to him...
