Summary
Marcel moves to the island of Yolk on a whim, not knowing what to expect or who he might meet. Though initially underwhelmed by the prospect of fitting into their tight-knit society, he quickly becomes suspicious of the strange, and aloof Resident Representative, whose name has never been divulged and whose practices are a matter of private inquiry. Town gossip only gets Marcel so far, and his curiosity begins to burn a hole in him.
This island might end up being more than he wanted, and more than he could've anticipated.
