Summary
What transpired when Sawamura Eijun woke up one day not as himself? Confronted by his dejected former self, he's resolute in aiding, but it proves challenging without his baseball career. Complicating matters, Miyuki Kazuya, the Seido team's captain and catcher, is pursuing him in the present. Carrying his 'old' self's memories, he forges a new path at Seido, striving to achieve his goals. And perhaps, just perhaps, along the way, he would uncover the truth behind why he was there. And amidst the trials and tribulations, amidst the thrill of the game and the camaraderie of teammates, he would discover that love, too, had a place in this new chapter of his life.

Kazuya reaches out and pokes Eijun in the cheek, giggling when the skin yields beneath his finger. “Haha,” he laughs, swaying forward, eyes roaming over Eijun’s features. His pretty features. Pretty eyes and pretty freckles. Pretty smile. Pretty, pretty, pretty.
Eijun rolls his lips into his mouth and laughs. “You think I’m pretty, huh?” he says, eyes twinkling, and Kazuya blinks, brows furrowed in confusion.
“Can you read my mind?” Kazuya asks, and he isn’t sure why, but he has a feeling he’s going to be painfully embarrassed by his behavior in the morning. “How did you know I was thinking about how pretty you are?”
Eijun smiles and covers his cheek with his palm. Pretty, Kazuya thinks again. “You said it out loud, you dope,” Eijun explains. “Wow, you’re really drunk.”

I've never read a fiction where they're age and positions are switched. I like the concept of sawamura as a catcher a lot more than I thought. Not ooc fir either of them. Miyuki wanting to prove himself and getting injured was very similar to sawamuras yips arc for me.
