The online presence of fanfiction will remain apparent on the internet for years to come and the interactions one can have with said form of fiction can vary from one to another but the few times that it made striking impacts for them in the moment, later affect them down the line a few years later as well. A few examples being Midoriya Izuku and Bakugo Katsuki, watching their lives unfold and twist around one another over their shared interest of fanfiction starting from when they were young to their adult lives together.

Kaminari, now fully interested in their conversation, peeks over Todoroki’s shoulder, and reads the screen. “An omegaverse All Might and Endeavor fanfiction.” He announces to the few other classmates who had gathered around.
