    Lucifer just straightened his own back and looked down the extra two inches he had on her in this form, and she wilted ever so slightly. It was ridiculously easy. Nobody needed height to loom - Beelzebub managed it all the time, after all - but that didn't mean he wasn't going to use it.

Her power was still there, and her miracles, but, there was a freedom, faint and new, nestled in next to them, like a first glimpse of peace in forever.
