Holy shit, was the first thought that hit Piers as he spotted the man in question. He had just walked in from the light rain, and ran his fingers through his dirty blond hair in a way that had no right to be as erotic as it was. The man was wearing tight jeans that accentuated his behind in all the right ways, a brown leather jacket stretched over his wide shoulders, and a shadow of stubble on his handsome face.
Piers watched the man walk up to the bar, lean against it – yup, that ass truly did not quit – and order a drink, and he was pretty much ready to jump up and approach him with all the corny pickup lines he knew. And then some.
Fingers snapping in front of his face made Piers scowl and turn back to Merah. “Where did you disappear to?” she teased, giving his forehead a tap.

*The is the revised edition of my first fic. Remakes appear to be all the rage right now, so I thought to add a HD layer to my story.*
With Chris being booted out the Airforce he has to pack up his bags and start again. Set in modern times with a younger less damaged Chris. What will he do who will he find, can he rebound from this setback? A Bit of fluff and angst with ranching on the side. The pair become farmers and they love it. Can they build something together along with the old ranch? An alternate universe take on what could be if Chris met Piers before the BSAA.
My first fanfic. I'm totally in love with ChrisxPiers shippers so hopefully I can add something to the fandom.
