Summary
Odysseus returned home too late to salvage his life or family. He already became a monster of the mind in order to survive, but in his grief, he turned into something else entirely.
Now, there is a new creature stalking the seas, a beast with six heads who lurks far below.
A beast with the memories of a man and too many sorrows to count.

Summary
The gods once shaped Odysseus’s fate with cruel precision—building him into a hero, then breaking him piece by piece. Now, home in Ithaca, he is a shadow of the man he once was. His victories feel hollow, and his family, though intact, seems distant and changed by his long absence.

Summary
Odysseus has been waiting for his wife. Waiting for his wife for so, so long.
Telemachus, meanwhile, has been raised more so by his uncle, due to unintentional neglect from his father. Wanting to make his father proud, he had joined his uncle on his sails to search for Penelope and Ctimene, to no avail. Maybe he could find his mother if he were legendary..
One could only hope. -

Summary
After Odysseus is pulled from the clutches of an endless exile, he finds himself accompanied by Hermes, the god who revels in trouble and thrives on the unknown. As they journey toward Ithaca, Hermes teases at Odysseus’ deepest doubts, challenging his convictions and planting seeds of uncertainty. What begins as playful flirtation unfolds into something more insidious, as the god subtly bends Odysseus’ perspective on home, loyalty, and the man he’s become, leaving Odysseus wondering if his destination is truly the end of his journey—or the beginning of something entirely different.

Summary
" My queen. " Says a woman with long, luscious brown hair, embedded with flowers of all kinds. Her pink dress, curving her figure all the way down to her legs, drapes just below and leaves a flow in her step like nothing else. Her eyes almost entrance her, send her into a spiral with how many colors lie within. It's inhumane, it's unique, it's--
" Who are you? "

Summary
Odysseus never really stopped wondering.
Before, he had to focus on more pressing issues: Charybdis and Poseidon trying to block his way home, the suitors once he got there. But now he’s home; finally, he hugged his son and reunited with his wife.
He got all he ever wanted—at what cost?—and so his mind is free to go back to Hermes’ sibylline words.

Summary
"Tick. Tick.
He felt time rush past him. He felt like he was dragged out of his conscience, yet still there. Nonetheless, a familiar feeling.
He was startled at first, but quickly recognized the empty space of nothingness. Of void. It was the Grey-Eyed Goddess’s quick thought as she called it. There, standing before him with her back turned, was the mighty Pallas Athena.
His mentor. His patron. His friend.
Were they really friends?
They sat in silence for a short while. In that silence, Odysseus pondered on why she called him here. They had talked, or argued he supposed, just moments prior. Thinking back on that moment, he knew why.
“You were reckless.” was what broke the silence. Athena’s voice was powerful, clear, and prideful. No surprise with her being a goddess. She examined him closely."

Summary
Odysseus sighed heavily as his raft floated closer to Ithaca. He was so close. He had gone through Hell to get here, and he wasn’t going to let anything take him away from it.
His raft rocked a little, and Odysseus picked up his knife in a flash. Was it a creature? Just water? He wasn’t going to take any chances.
Then a head poked out of the water a few feet away from the raft.
Or,
An under appreciated god chats with Odysseus about morals and death.

Summary
Athena knew deep down that she'd be alright.
She knew that eventually, the pain would fade. Like a battle wound, it would be nothing but a dull buzz, before healing completely. Would she potentially be left with scars? Being a god, she wasn't completely sure. Maybe in the next millennia they'll fully blend in with her skin. Maybe the murky yellow in her left eye would change back to blue, or perhaps her hair would grow again.
No matter what happened, she'd eventually be fine.
But for now, this was her worst nightmare.

“I’ve suffered so much… so much to get back to you, and our son, and now-”
His eyes sting red with tears and his voice chokes with sobs.
“I’ve done things, Penelope. Terrible things. Monstrous things.”
“Oh Ody…” Penelope takes Odysseus’ hands in hers, his hands rough and calloused and burned. A smattered canvas to the battles he has endured.
“Ody, you do not have to tell me. And I do not wish to know.” She clasps her hands, burying his within her own.

Summary
Penelope woke up and immediately noticed her husband’s absence. She’d fallen asleep in his arms so it was rather easy to realize he was no longer in bed with her. Sitting up and rubbing her eyes she glanced around the room, squinting as her eyes adjusted to the darkness. At first glance Penelope assumed Odysseus must have left the room entirely until she saw a figure standing by the balcony railing, something about the way he was standing and the late hour of the night didn’t sit right with her. She got out of bed and slowly walked over to the open archway connecting the balcony to their bedroom, “Odysseus?” She asked in a quiet voice, taking a small step towards him, “Odysseus, why are you up so late?”
Or: Odysseus has a nightmare relating to his survivor's guilt and contemplates whether or not he deserves to live after everything he's done. Penelope is there to remind him that he deserves to live, and to live happy.
