Summary
Erwin has read about the Ackerman clan since he was a little child and became obsessed. At the age of seventeen, he decides to step out of becoming a shifter and embarks on a mission to retrieve the Ackerman clan from Paradis. During his quest, he finds Levi, the living embodiment of every tale and myth Erwin's ever read. Through war and politics, they fight to stick together so they can free Eldians from oppression.

Levi said nothing.
“Do you ever tire of it?” Erwin asked, his gaze steady but gentle. “Carrying that responsibility?”
For a moment, Levi’s face softened, as if Erwin had found a place of understanding not often reached. But just as quickly, Levi pulled back behind his guarded mask.“Duty is not personal,” Levi replied, voice clipped. “Protecting people from the cruelty of the world is natural to any good man. Something you people likely don’t understand.”

Fight. Fight. Fight.
Most of Levi’s life has been centered around fighting. Whether it be against thugs, titans, or corrupt nobles, no person doubts Levi’s skill and acumen. But despite his unmatchable skills, he’s also only human; and like any human, Levi grows tired of the constant battles. Even once they “solved” the titan problem outside the walls, the fights never ended. They just took different forms.
But as a group of Marleyans enact their plans for Paradis, perhaps Levi can finally catch the break he undoubtedly deserves. Like with anything worth having though, it won’t come easy – and would Levi even accept the form that this break would take?
