Summary
Sinbad and Marina sail off into the sunset, leaving Proteus behind, but all is not well in paradise. Marina pushes Sinbad to reconsider his relationship with Proteus, but when Eris visits in a (sexy) vision, Sinbad distracts himself by vowing to block her influence, which conveniently requires returning to Syracuse. Once there, the Proteus problem can't be avoided. Angst ensues, but the three more-than-friends ultimately help each other find their happily ever after.
CA: Homophobia - conflict includes gay denial/realization, with brief references to period-typical homophobia. No overt insults or aggression. Proud ending guaranteed. :)

Summary
He almost doesn't recognize himself when he starts to clean and check and busy himself, just so that he doesn't have to feel like doing nothing. There is something that keeps him moving. An itching for something more. But how can he tell Marina, when it must be that he's bored, that the thrills of the life as a pirate seem to be what's missing. She said she'd figure it out, but if Sinbad trusts in one thing more than her it's his talent for fucking a good thing up.
Sinbad and Marina sail the seas together, but something's missing.
Proteus has duties and should be used to being on his own by now.

Summary
Like a gift, in the summer, they came.
Proteus saw the orange sails from the balcony, and was racing down into the city before the royal guard could catch up with him. Market stallholders waved him hello to no avail. A flock of gulls scattered into the air, startled, as he sprinted through their midst. With his outer garment flapping around him, he was a streak of starflower-blue across the streets.
“Now would you look at that,” Sinbad’s voice drawled, as he reached the Chimera. “We haven’t been here five seconds, and they’re already sending out the guards.”
The year after Eris, and what came of it. There are some loves that haunt you, and some bonds no distance can break.

Summary
“Jealous?” Sinbad says, voice easily and casually mocking, but there’s something else under there, an undertone that speaks of so many things Marina isn’t even close to understanding.
“Extremely,” says Proteus, cracking a half-smile, but Marina feels like he’s not joking.
They stare at each other for a few moments. Marina’s gaze flickers between them. Sun and moon. She wishes—she doesn’t know what she wishes. Her heart is twisting again, but in a different way from before: as though it’s half-empty and longs to be full.
