The war was over. Really, truly, finally over.
So how did they celebrate? By throwing a party.
In truth, Fred-104 was sure that this was just one of many parties, which ranged from intimate celebrations to riots. But, having been trapped in the Forerunner installation that had been hidden within Onyx until very recently, it was the first one that he had been made to attend.
He’d wanted to reject the proposal, of course. He was a Spartan. Spartans didn’t party.
But then… Spartans didn’t reject direct orders from Fleet Admiral Lord Terrence Hood, either. Even when those orders came dressed up as polite invitations.
