A life without you wouldn’t be a life well lived. It would be a life riddled with guilt and regret. I couldn’t imagine a life without Smeerensburg. A life without you

Summary
I... don't know how I expected my day to go, but I certainly didn't expect to be caught in the middle of a battlefield, and fought over by two behemoths acting like children. Well, I thought. This is how I die. Kinda sad, honestly.
Suddenly, before I had suffocated, the hands gripped around my head let go. I inhaled an enormous gasp of air, and found myself facing two elderly people, one in a dark orange, the other in an even darker blue, both looking directly at my face while still seeming to be looking down on me. Around the clearing came muttered cries; A postman?.. Not again. Finally, the blue elderly woman spoke. "Who are you?" she said, in a voice that reminded me of entitlement and... Managers?
I responded."I'm... not sure?

Summary
Two new postmen are forced to work on an island where mail is possibly as dry as Antarctica and the people are straight up rotten to the core as there's a long-held feud between the Ellingboes and Krum. The use of postage is useless to them when there were zero legal troubles they'd run into if they, say, expressed this feud through fire or bombs.
The twins are slightly going crazy in their new environment, especially with the need for 6,000 letters over in a year above their heads. If they fail to fulfill that goal, they'll get cut off and thrown out on the streets. Thank you father, greatly appreciated and man can they feel your love.

Summary
What was Mogens supposed to do, just let the first real chance at companionship he’d had in a decade sail away looking like the world was crumbling around him? He could have. It would have been so easy to just shut his mouth and ferry the postman and his father back to the mainland, but no, he didn’t.
“Well that’s a first-”
This entire fic is just going to be Mogens having a crisis, forgive him, he doesn't know how to handle his own feelings.

Summary
And as the year passed Jesper found himself anticipating that next Christmas more and more.
What he had not been expecting, however, was just how much the children of Smeerensburg would be anticipating it as well.
-
Jesper's 2nd Christmas in Smeerensburg comes with it's own unique set of ups and downs, but he wouldn't want it any other way.

"Alright, there you go again with your sarcastic bullshit. Be careful not to be too sentimental next time, though... Otherwise, you'll start to show you're not actually a jerk, but a nice guy, after all."
"Oh, Your Highness, who said I was being sarcastic?"Jesper and Mogens have feelings for each other. One of them realizes it soon enough, but don't know how to handle the new situation, while the other one is just a slow idiot.

Summary
I'll be writing literally 31 separate chapters for 31 separate kinks and using multiple AU's depending on which kink, so I won't be including all those tags but, as you can see, no archive warnings apply in my writings. I'll be giving descriptions at the beginnings of each chapter so please read them and enjoy! (I will be posting this fic as complete but add to the chapter count as I go, as each chapter could be considered its own, stand alone one-shot.)

ch 3: instead, jesper's eyes had snagged on the gaggle of children some few buildings down as they clustered around mogens, enraptured, as he spun some sort of animated tale while sprawled on the steps of what used to be the ellingboe meeting hall. it looked, alva notes dryly, almost as if he were holding court.

Summary
“I don’t understand,” Jesper said. “If you... If you’re—” His voice creaked, like a rusty doorknob, but he carried on, “then how are you... here?”
“It’s Christmas Eve night,” Klaus said. “Where else would I be?”
