    Satoshi was called back to the Alola region to finally take up his responsibilities as the regional champion - he was now going to be the face of Alola, their protector, their guide. It didn't matter that he ended up losing the Pokemon World Championship, or that he's been stagnant in Kanto for the past couple of months - he is now an adult in the eyes of Alolan laws, and the region still saw him as a powerful and worthy trainer.

    Little did he know that stepping up to the plate was going to forcibly kickstart the next chapter of his life. Nothing was ever quite normal for the Chosen One, after all.

    Though he is still yet to learn that he should reach out for help before it's too late.

      This is without a doubt the best thing I have read this year, and that includes all of the other fanfics I've read before. This has child abuse and manipulation and Ash being not okay and Papa Kukui and fun under the Alolan sun and *treason* and I think my keyboard is going to malfunction from the tears. I *have* to learn to write this well and this beautifully
      in short: i am in tears at this incredible piece of literature and will probably be extremely in character for the play on friday where i become an angsty elementay schooler and weep onstage.

    Azure is the flying type specialist elite four of Kanto and Fairy-type of Johto ( distant voices of Lance yelling at her pokemon to stay away from his precious babies), as well as has a lot of other titles, she won the leagues coz how is it that Ash defeats legendaries and evil teams but cant ace a league.
