Yusuke finds Akira in the Cage.
This is a dream, albeit one where Yusuke is oddly cognizant. A small, floating creature draped in a white square of fabric introduced herself as Mama and told him about the Cage. If he fixes all of the anomalies in the scarecrows along the way, his greatest wish will come true.
Yusuke's vision dims. Dark like the charcoal of Akira's eyes. Jagged shapes cut across Akira; the house; the world. Not like this. All of this is a dream — it has to be — and yet he refuses to let it end like this. In falsehoods and things left unsaid.
