Summary

The war against the Fell Dragon had arrived sooner than expected. Diamant knew that Elusia would try to bring Sombron back, but he had hoped it would take longer. He just needed to prevent the ritual from being completed. All the efforts he made, it was all to protect Alcryst. He refused to lose his younger brother, not after everything he had gone through to save him.
All he needed to do was keep Alcryst from partaking in the war, but Diamant finds that is difficult to do. There was nothing he could have done to prevent it, not when he receives a message from Firene telling him that they would be coming with the Divine Dragon. He could only hope that Alear would be able to help.

Everything had gone wrong. The Divine Dragon Lumera had been defeated by the Fell Dragon Sombron, and the Emblems had been scattered across Elyos. Lumera's daughter Alear fled, leaving Elyos's people to fend for themselves as Sombron's Corrupted descended on the land led by the Four Hounds. No matter how much they prayed, no one answered their calls.
As if he could not be more cruel, Sombron decides to take a captive. For Diamant, it was a nightmare that he couldn't wake up from. All he could do was watch as Alcryst had been taken away while his prayers were left unanswered. As time trickled by, Diamant grows more wary and desperate to find away to bring his brother home.
Then one day, Alear returns.

Don’t get Alear wrong, he’s enjoyed his time in Askr quite plenty after being summoned here, fighting alongside his friends, joyfully reconnecting with his mother in this world, and even getting to meet other Divine Dragons from other worlds, including a twin, female version of himself? He would ruminate on that one, if it weren't for the fact that he's been stressed ever since being one of the first summoned here!
Thankfully, one of the Summoner's summoning sessions had finally pulled in his lovely sister, Veyle! Who just so happens to have the perfect method to relieve her brother's stress, once she notices how much Alear had built up.
