Summary
Warden-Recruit Daylen Amell fights alongside his friends and companions at the Battle of Denerim, leading his fellow mages into the fray. However, that was not the task he asked for... Unable to comprehend empathy, Amell chose to go on his own and strike out against the Darkspawn by himself instead of protecting those under his command. As his subordinates fell one by one the Warden Mage became more arrogant with every darkspawn he had ripped apart. He loved the rush and the feeling of the blighted blood cover his body. Summary
Grey Wardens have a duty: kill darkspawn, slay the Archdemon, die either doing so or in battle. One such Warden, Aedyn Cousland, has done so but has survived the Fifth Blight and the events of Awakening. After finding his long lost love, Morrigan, he settled down for a while to spend time with her and his son, Kieran. One day, in his dreams, he was visited by an unwelcome sight: the Archdemon he had slain years ago. These nightmares persist and will never end. Aedyn decides to embark on a journey to end all this and do the impossible. He wants to be free of the taint bestowed upon him during his joining. This story will tell of the events and trials he faces as he seeks a way to become unblighted.
