Summary
Maedhros has seen his father murdered and turn to ashes, then been dragged to the heart of the enemy's lair. Morgoth and Mairon have decided to turn their attentions to him for both business and pleasure; he’s going to need more than luck to survive in one piece.
It's business as usual for Adar’s third millennium of servitude to Morgoth when an elf king of some importance is dragged into Angband - one that Adar is repeatedly called upon to torment. The number of surviving Moriandor are dwindling; it can’t be that bad to try and recruit the elf king, can it? Of what horrors one can experience in the pits of Angband, the wastes of Utumno, the dungeons of Tol-in-Gaurhoth, few have ever spoken. There are things done in darkness that those that dwell in the light cannot imagine. These are just a few of the stories of the agony that awaits those who become prisoners of the Dark Lord… or those that serve him.
** This is a collection of short fics (1-2k each) written to follow the prompts for Whumptober 2022. They were not finished during October, but time is an illusion and I will continue to write and post them for as long as it takes to complete all prompts. ** -
