Summary
An important life lesson that I wish I'd learned much earlier in life:
Love and/or romance won't fix your problems - or anyone else's. Love can be healing but only at a certain point. Before that, it's more likely to do more harm than good. When people told me to love myself before I loved another I never understood why. Now I know it's because while I had (and do still have) the capacity to do so, it was a very unhealthy way of me measuring my value by what others thought of me. Not that there is necessarily a healthy way to do that but this is an important lesson nonetheless.

Summary
Intimacy (noun) - close familiarity or friendship; closeness
Most people assume sexual acts are the only form of intimacy but there's a much broader spectrum of this one word than these people realize. Others assume it's only about physical contact, sexual or not. But what about the things you do for someone just because of who they are to you? Like making coffee first thing in the morning even when you don't drink it. Even making sure that bowl goes back in that spot is a good example. Remembering the 'little things' is just as intimate as having sex with someone.
Maybe even more so.

Summary
Russell realizes there's more to this town than there usually is. Could it be the view from his window every night? Maybe just that this town seemed to keep to itself in all the right ways? Or is it the bouncing red curls that stopped him one day and demanded he tried the coffee in a nearby cafe?
The coffee wasn't bad and since then, those freckles and sparkling eyes were what he saw in the stars every night. He purposely took new jobs in this town for as long as he could.
But why?
