It's been a while since Elodie and Kino had last met up, but a visit to a port town along the coast of Nova causes their two paths to intersect yet again. Elodie is happy to see Kino again, but with it comes emotions that she doesn't know how to deal with, especially when she doesn't know if the feeling is mutual.
Self-indulgent crossover ship(kinda) fic that I wanted to write. These two are cute but doomed by the narrative I love it.

Summary
It's been a year after the death of her father, and the coronation not long after. Elodie has been working hard in order to live up to the expectations placed on her. She's starting to get used to the life that has been laid out for her, devoting herself entirely to meet others' expectations.
However, when a traveler with a strange device comes through town, they pique her interest, and Elodie offers them shelter in the castle. During the course of the traveler's stay, Elodie asks questions, trying to understand this "Kino"'s life and why they do the things they do. And perhaps, along the way, she'll get a new understanding of the predetermined path she calls her life.

Aurora knows at least sixteen different instruments and has a voice so beautiful birds quiet to listen. Celeste is an expert archer and swordswoman. Orion is an excellent dancer. Vega is a world class athlete and Venus is an excellent horseback rider. Cressida is a whiz with numbers and Elara is good with strategy. Calypso is well versed with divination and lore while Ophelia is a natural at identifying herbs and Pandora is an expert at flattery and charming people. Stella feels as if she can't compete with any of her sisters at all. When she discovers that she has magical powers, Stella feels that this is her chance to finally stand out amongst her sisters. But when rumors of a war begin to arise, Stella learns that magic runs deeper in her family than she ever thought and that she and her sisters will need to work together and rely on each other if they ever want to protect their kingdom.
