Armand and Daniel have a drink together.
Slicing his right earthen-toned wrist open with his fingernail, Armand took the boy’s head of disheveled brown curls in his hand and gently brought him closer to himself, presenting the crimson ichor pouring from his swollen vein to the boy’s lips, resting open in wait. Tiny droplets of blood dotted the sage bedsheets upon which he sat, peering down at the mortal in front of him. The room was caliginously lit, but he could see the boy’s expression perfectly with his preternatural sight, thoughts spilling with want.

关于题目：无意间发现加州州花是花菱草（又叫加州虞美人），喜阳，具有和罂粟类似的药效。丹尼尔曾经是个瘾君子，纵使他后来改过自新，他依然美丽、有毒，令人和鬼都对他上瘾；Arun，印地语的太阳、灵魂。丹尼尔迷恋阿尔芒，正如花菱草向阳而生。对于阿尔芒来说，丹尼尔何曾不是一株有毒令他上瘾又离不开的毒药，是他落脚的归宿。
