Stressful situations can strain even strongest relationships. One groundless argument or one hurtful word can destroy months of love and respect. During a heist all feelings multiply, good and bad. And even when you want to forget about everything that happened and just move on with your life, the past, screaming at you in any given moment, makes it impossible to bounce back into normalcy.
Having been released by the Government, Raquel and Sergio try their best to return to what their life had been like before Rio’s arrest disrupted it and turned it upside down. But what happened to and between them during those stressful months—and especially during the heist itself—looms over them inexorably. The great war might be over, but battles that follow are just as difficult to win as an arm-wrestling match against the authorities.
Among the grief, guilt and the uncertainty of what the future may bring, one thing remains clear—their bond is indestructible. The two of them survived a war and walked out beaten and bloody, with heads full of worries, but ultimately stronger, more than certain of the nature of their relationship, vowing they would always be each other’s. And they will survive anything that comes next.

Summary
Having a gun pressed to her forehead, Raquel prayed for just a few more seconds, before the darkness would consume her forever. She wanted to say proper goodbyes to her loved ones, if not in person, then at least in her head, so that she could go with a peace of mind. But she knew it was impossible, so she accepted her fate and waited for death to welcome her with a kind embrace.
When she opened her eyes, she was surprised to see the world frozen. She was somehow standing there, next to her kneeling self, and realised that her prayer had been answered. She was granted time—possibly a lifetime, instead of these mere second that she had left—and she could take as much of it as she wanted to settle accounts with everything that had led her to that moment.
But as much as she wanted to stay in this weird purgatory forever and enjoy living (though she wasn’t sure if that was the right word, as she was the only one there, while the entire world around her seemed to stop), she knew that eventually she would have to return.

While Raquel has mostly accepted her unlucky fate, Samar still tries to run away from her past and her own pain.
In Madrid these two women meet each other buried deep in their own personal hell. Will they find a way to actually connect and help each other or will their fears and demons catch up with them and swallow them in the end? And what happens when their hunt for the serial killer suddenly goes terribly wrong?
