Summary
The Beat Team has come up with an exciting innovation for their next FreeFest party: a dancing competition. They’ve split their crew in two groups and are rehearsing to recreate choreographies from two well known movies.
Seven weeks left before what they’re calling ‘The Beat Battle’, Marie—the leading lady of Gill’s best number—sprains her ankle.
After that, fourth year girls are convoked to an audition where Gill will pick Marie’s substitute, the chosen one who’ll be paired up with none other than Senne De Smet.
Amber, who’s super excited with that possibility, gets Zoë (even though reluctantly) to help her rehearse for the audition.
The plot twist happens when Gill finds Zoë perfect for her number. Zoë who didn’t audition, Zoë who is not interested in participating.
Once empathy enters the equation, Zoë ends up accepting the challenge.
A challenge that will require a lot of strength from her body, but especially from her heart.

Summary
For some reason, he wasn’t expecting the poor soul to be a boy roughly his age with scruffy hair and striking blue eyes set in a delicate face.
Jens straightened subtly in his chair, placed to the right side of his mother’s throne, and met the boy’s eyes for half a second.
His mother ordered a sharp, “Kneel.”
Before the boy could comply, one of the guards that had escorted him set a heavy hand on his shoulder and forced him down, making him land on the stone floor in a manner that left Jens’s own knees aching in sympathy. The boy simply caught his breath and held his chin high, looking straight at them and through, his jaw clenched.
Jens drummed his fingers on his knee in interest.
“Speak your name to the Court.”
The boy took a breath as some of his masqueraded confidence slipped. “Lucas. Lucas van der Heijden.”
