Pracujący od dawna jako szpieg Ostrza Marmory Thace dostaje awans do Bazy Głównej Imperium, chociaż średnio nadaje się do nowej dla niego roli. Zarówno on jak Kolivan i Antok doskonale zdają sobie sprawę, że nie jest najlepszym kandydatem, ale nie zamierzają stracić okazji do infiltracji wojska Imperium z samej centrali. Thace radzi sobie lepiej niż się spodziewał, chociaż początki i sam wyjazd z dotychczasowej jednostki są dla niego trudne...
A potem do Bazy Głównej wraca z kilkumiesięcznej misji Prorok i na wierzch stopniowo wychodzą wszystkie powody, dlaczego Thace nigdy nie powinien tam trafić. Więcej w tagach i notce wstępnej ;)

Let's go back to season 5: Zarkon offers Sam Holt in exchange for Lotor, and Pidge manages to twist Shiro's arm into going along with the obvious trap.
Well, let's pretend Shiro had been firmer with her, and in a desperate attempt to save her father, Pidge goes along with the hostage exchange herself.
Naturally, things go horribly wrong.
EDIT: This fic was originally posted back in April 2020, but I'm revamping this baby to clear up all the grammar errors, wording flukes, and just make sure the notes better reflect my story intent. There's sure to be little edits all over the place, but nothing that completely derails the story. I'm just a perfectionist that's never satisfied.
EDIT 2: It's 2023 and I am revamping random chapters again. Will that I learn that a completed work means more than a perfected one? ...Probably not. -
