Summary
As one of the only openly gay kids at school, Scra's life isn't exactly smooth sailing. It doesn't help any that he's currently harbouring a crush on the school's star player, and his oblivious (straight) best friend, Ky.
With the final game of the season in only a few short hours and Scra's anxiety through the roof as whispers and rumours swirl, Ree and Ky convince him that it's okay to be selfish. That making memories isn't something he should shy away from, because of what someone else might think or say.
And, well... they say a picture is worth a thousand words, but what will theirs say, to those who see it?

An aphrodisiac—even one of immense potency—typically only affect an individual’s desire to participate in sexual activities. Ultimately, they do not influence whether or not these individuals act on those desires.
The same cannot be said about Passionatus libeteradix, which targets not only the parts of the brain responsible for sexual desire, but also those areas that process intense emotion and memory. Meaning, should two people find themselves in a room together, under the influence of this specific specimen, their ability to control their urges depends entirely on how they feel towards one another.
When the class is suddenly exposed to the spores of this 'Cupid's Arrow', Ky fears what it'll mean for the crush he's been harbouring on his roommate, best-friend, and lab-partner.

Scra's only ever known life within the walls of the Roost, where the dole promise protection from the altered in exchange for servitude and compliance.
He wants out and is willing to die trying.Ky's left unable to return to the safety of the Sanctuary after a scouting and supply run in the city goes horribly wrong.
He waits for the moment death will come and collect him.On their own, neither have hope of escaping the city and the monsters that lurk in the shadows.
Together, they stand a chance. However, it quickly becomes apparent that their need for each other isn't only limited to survival. -
