Owl's hooted in the background, Birds chirped and leaves rustled as He lightly stepped on the soft snow below Him. His eyes slowly traveled to each tree He past by, keeping Himself on guard as He walked down the forests. Most trees covered a thick blanket of snow. The moonlight loomed down on the forest, it's soft shade of blue dawned over the trees. wolves howled in the distances as He adventured down the snowy path. The blonde licked His lips, mouth dry from walking despite the cool atmosphere. He did a quick search around His surrounding before tugging out a small canteen of water and unscrewing the lid. He slowly drank some of the water, it's almost ice cold temperature sending a small ahiver down His back.

Summary
A canon rewrite from season 8 going forward.
Lloyd Garmadon would have never expected things to take such a dangerous turn, but when the mysterious gang known as the Sons of Garmadon steal the Oni Mask of Vengeance from Cyrus Borg, The Ninja are tasked to protect the Royal family, and stop the group before they become an even bigger threat to the citizens of ninjago.
(A rewrite that adds more angst, more danger, and more Kai and Cole focus (I swear they were done so dirty.))
