Summary
Korra had was raised in a world very much unlike anything she would have had if she had grown up with her parents. By a cruel twist of fate - or simply another part of God's plan, according to her uncle - Senna and Tonraq were killed in a plane crash when she was just four years old. Unalaq, a zealous convert to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, adopted Korra and raised her, Desna, and Eska into the faith. Everything had seemed to work itself out, all thanks to the blessings the Church seemed to bestow the family. They were wealthy, and Korra had been a star athlete with big dreams of playing college basketball at Brigham Young University, the college affiliated with the Church.
Underneath that success story, however, was layers upon layers of hidden pain, building until Korra couldn't take it anymore, leaving behind the faith and her family alongside it. Now going to school at the University of Washington, Korra's path intertwines with her longtime friend Asami, even rooming together in the same dorm. Despite the two coming from vastly different worlds in matters of faith and position in life, they share an unshakeable bond that has stood the test of time and promises to blossom into something new.

Summary
Korra promptly joined her on the couch, laid Asami’s legs across her lap, and got to work unlacing her boots. Once removed, she drew some water from the air and pressed it against Asami’s feet, charging it with healing energies and providing instant relief. Asami had to bite her lip to prevent herself from making an undignified sound.
“How does that feel?” Korra asked with a dangerously husky whisper.
Asami obviously couldn’t risk opening her mouth, given the circumstances, so she eked out a soft, “Mmhmm.” She hoped that would pass for vaguely positive feedback, and would not be interpreted correctly as the pathetic whimper of a defeated woman.

Summary
Barbie- Asami seemed to ponder over something for a moment before she pressed her lips, straightened her back and reached out a hand.
Korra focused on the outstretched hand (a hard thing to do when the edge of her eyesight is so fuzzy) and squinted slightly -to make the double vision calm down a notch. she shook it.
Asami's hand was warm. And calloused, she must work with her hands regularly. Despite the roughness of her skin, Barbie's nails were filed and manicured.
Her hand was warm and her smile was warmer but Barbie's eyes were colder than ever when she squeezed Korra's hand and shook it, following the -quite painful- handshake with a polite "nice to meet you Korra."
She wants to play that game? Korra gladly accepted the challenge.
She plastered on a smile, squeezed Asami's hand harder, and replied with a sugary sweet-
"Likewise".
Aka- the one where Asami and Korra are both stupidly drunk and just plain stupid.

Summary
Asami has a hopeless crush on her best friend, Korra, who happens to be dating Asami’s ex-boyfriend, Mako. She’s aware that it’s a mess.
Asami plans to repress any and all non-platonic feelings for her best friend until the end of time (It’s just good that Korra’s in a more-or-less happy relationship, right?), but when Mako freaks out over Korra’s soulmark and ends the relationship, things somehow get even messier.****
“Oh,” Mako says. He toys with the edge of the scarlet scarf that he insists on perpetually wearing, despite the fact that it clashes horribly with the green apron of his coffee shop uniform. She wonders, not for the first time, whether it’s technically allowed as part of his dress code. “Is this about Korra?”
“No shit, Sherlock.”
He narrows his eyes suspiciously. “Asami, can I ask why, specifically, you’re here and not, well, my ex-girlfriend?”
“Technically, Scarf Boy, I am also your ex-girlfriend.”

Summary
Werewolves, Vampires, and Humans, living in a broken world. A forbidden legend hides within the clutches of unspoken evil. The change in environment they're settled in may look warm, homey, and spectacular but that's certainly not the case from the lack of harmony within the different types of people. History was burned by hatred and greed.
Most of this is through Korra's POV (Third person though), but there will be moments where other POVs are put in with reason. Beware, the beginning is quite... upsetting as well as confusing, but it'll (hopefully) make sense later.
There is a bit of blood due to death, but I did try not to go overboard on them. (Bloody parts will occur later in the future)
