Summary
The new motive Monokuma has presented is nothing but a drag. However, when Nagito sees Hajime loitering by the hospital, he finds a truly hopeless discovery - He's got the despair disease! Now one less symbol of hope down, he needs to figure out a way to make use of this conundrum before all the Ultimates are too sick for the killing game.
The only issue is- Hajime can't stop distracting him.
Or: A role reversal where Hajime is the one sick instead of Nagito, and it leads to some more heartfelt connections because Nagito actually uses his brain.

-The story is about Hajime Hinata, going to Hope's peak after receive the invitiation to it, with the new and fresh tittle of "Ultimate unlucky student", A counterpart to the "Lucky student"
The unlucky student isnt choosed by lottery, but by a recomendation of some student with an already tittle in the Academy's eye, this student will be studied and have the chance to fulfill a life of success and honor. A mere kindness of the Academy to give this opportunity..
And give it to someone who doesnt want it.

It's midnight, it's cold, the breeze is gentle and the sky is clear with an abundance of stars in her canvas. So classically poetic, yet it for some reason could do this city no good.
With a closed-mouth, he let out a heavy exhale. If he were the man he were a year ago, he would be sick of this lifestyle already. But even those emotions were to outrageous in the lifeless city; so all he could do was lean against the metal railing and bury his head in his hands, as if trying to comfort himself. He's beginning to feel frustrated, yet somehow even that felt like a trapped emotion in his heart. He's clawing at the walls of his locked disposition and it's grating at him.
With a groan, he throws his head back and pulls against the railing to lean back, arms slightly flailing as he almost missed- and in the right corner of his peripheral he watches the hue of warmth fall from it's position- shit.
With a slightly delayed gasp he reaches down quickly, and yet even though he was the closest to the candle, he was no match for the much more tanned and quick hand to grab the candle which seemed to put out the flame on it's fall down.
"..Perhaps it's better not to place a candle there."

Nagito's perfectly planned out death, goes as smoothly as he planned, until it didn't. Nagito waited for the vaporized poison to kill him.... but it never comes. Nagito lives, but all he can think about where he went so wrong, where someone seen through is carefully laied out plan.
Nagito lives, but at what cost...?
Or Nagito lives but Monokuma still wants the game to continue and gives out a motive for chapter 5 because there wasn't one beforehand.

Hajime would give good hugs. He would smell like pine trees and ash, or whatever they put in men’s cologne. His hair would be soft after he washed it, just one strand sticking up slightly. Hajime would sleep in just an oversized t-shirt, maybe hug his pillow protectively when he went to bed. He probably had a nice singing voice, one of those where he whispers under his breath and you can hear the smile in his voice. Nagito would bet that he could do something skillful, like chess or skateboarding.
