Summary
Klavier Gavin, one of the top prosecutors in Los Angeles and international rockstar, just wants someone to understand him. Tired of the glamor of celebrity life and the busyness of being a prosecutor, Klavier yearns to find someone who he can truly connect with. One day, he meets a mysterious masked defense attorney, and is curious to learn more about him.
Apollo Justice, member of the once famed Justus family, is cursed to never show his full face to anyone. In the courtroom, he is “The Masked Attorney”, a mysterious defense attorney donning a grand mask and with an ability to spot any lie. Under many aliases and fake identities, Apollo is hellbent on putting up as many walls around him as possible, only ever letting those closest know the real him.
However, that all changes when he discovers that Klavier isn’t affected by the curse.
With this revelation, the two grow closer together, connecting with each other in a way that they never have with anyone else before.
And maybe, just maybe, they can finally break the Justus curse.

Apollo’s prepared to move forward using this other agent as a resource to help him recover the information. The problem is, Klavier Tambur is nothing like any agent he’s ever met. Either it’s his rockstar cover persona, or he really is just that irritating. Too bad Apollo’s stuck with him until they find this briefcase.

Apollo works in a small library, with books as old as a majority of its users. It doesn't make the job as calm as he would've expected though, but he can sometimes take advantage of (the rare) quiet times to study.
It’s leaving Klavier Gavin aside, the guitar teacher from the music school above who coincidentally has the same schedule as him and decides to make it Apollo’s problem whenever he clocks in or uses all the printing paper.
Well, he doesn’t have to deal with him that much, so all is good.
…Until Apollo and Klavier run late and find themselves stuck in the building, just the two of them…
Or not really, because ghosts haunt the place, and vengeful ones at that. But if they can manage to make it through the night, maybe they will be able to get out.
It won’t be an easy feat, with spirits finding their way into their mind… and not in the lightest corners of it.

There's a million and one reasons that Klavier knows that he can't date Apollo Justice. Their lifestyles are entirely different, Apollo's still shuttling between Khura'in and LA, Klavier can't stomach getting on a plane anymore. Apollo hates the idea of fame, Klavier can't even go to the corner store without being recognized. But Klavier sees Apollo calming Sebastian, Klavier's friend, after a bad trial. He finds out that Apollo sent Courte, Klavier's favorite teacher, flowers while she was in the hospital after the attempted murder. He knows how much Apollo loves Vongole, how Apollo holds her when she cries, when she misses Kristoph. How is Klavier supposed to not love Apollo after that?

It wouldn't be fair for Apollo to be in love with Klavier Gavin. He doesn't know when or if he'll ever return to LA, he's constantly busy with work, and surely Klavier doesn't want someone who reminds him of Kristoph. But he'll catch Klavier giving Trucy tips on how to protect herself while performing. He hears Clay raving about how Klavier sends him a signed copy of an out-of-print Gavinners album. He sees Klavier desperately try to befriend Mikeko. What's more beautiful than someone who takes care of those you love most? -

Ema freezes, hand midway to her mouth, fingers curled around the little snack. For a moment Klavier thinks she'll share his consternation. But a most bizarre thing happens.
