This takes place sometime before chapter 4 of hunter the parenting, and after "Marckus Goes Pubbing with his Weirdo Friends" after a blind date goes wrong for Brok, and Grimal each of them ending up with not their ideal person which is each other they soon discover that there might be more to their happenstance encounter than they could of anticipated. Maybe more than screaming, insulting, and fighting?

After Kitten accidentally lets an innocent child die on a hunt, he is wracked with the guilt that sometimes, a Hunter can't save everybody. He might have been fine, if he didn't have another person die from his own failures on the next hunt... And then nearly fail Marckus, too.
Then the darkness settles in. He gets sent on a downward spiral, until a short walk off a tall bridge seems like an amazing idea. -
