Summary
Kaveh is an architect, a father and someone who would never believe in magic. It's a fun idea in fiction but he will not entertain the thought any further, but as more and more strange things happen - in his house, in his garden, and to his daughter, Nahida - the more Kaveh questions what he once called reality and wonders what fantastic things have been hiding in plain sight, starting with the strange grey cat that Nahida claimed could turn into "a kind man that helps her with math homework".
This is a slow burn fic where Kaveh goes from married life, to single life, to believing in love once more, all while living in a haunted house and with the need to be the best possible father he can be to the sweetest daughter in the world.
It includes magic in the form of witches, wizards, and warlocks - if you don't know the difference, don't worry, it will be covered in the fic. And some lovely ghosts and spirits on top of it all. It may be a little spooky and strange, but don't worry, there's a happy ending and a lot of happy moments throughout this ride. -

Summary
First of all, they're not married! Second of all, Kaveh is in actual danger. . . LIKE ALL THE TIME! Third, Kaveh is the godson of Rukkhadevata and Deshret while his so called roommate is Kusanali's adopted son. And lastly, they won't get along!
Although Kaveh's Squad do not believe their classmate that it is all just an acquaintance or schoolmate/roommate thingee. They know that Kaveh is clearly in love with his schoolmate/roommate. They have no idea that they're housemates more than roommates since Kaveh doesn't have the urge to put his friends in danger.
Meanwhile, Kusanali offered her house for Kaveh to live in but made a mistake in giving the duplicated key of Alhaitham's house instead of an new place. The funny thing is, he started from calling him Alhaitham, to having a crush on him until the time he wants to call him "I'll-hate-him".
What would Kaveh do if the more he lives longer with Alhaitham, the more he will fall for him? Would the same happen to Alhaitham as Kaveh lives longer with him in "his" house?
The first chapter is an Author's Note on how the story will be like but to warn lazy readers, most of the chapters have either 4000-7000 words.
