After the Vision Hunt Decree was abolished, leaving Inazuma in peace as it once had been, Kaedehara Kazuha had been struggling to put his life back together after the aftermath. He could freely wander Inazuma again without harm... but nothing ever felt the same as it used to. His grief of his old friend Tomo had resurfaced.... And he felt incomplete. Kazuha attends to a small gathering, meeting a brunette detective that is unusually kind to him. Kazuha is left with astonishment, as to why the brunette detective was so interesting in him. After all, the detective had been hunting him and other fugitives down even after the decree. What Kazuha didn't know is Heizou had eyes for him... and not in the way Kazuha expected.
Things get secretive and spicy... all while trying to hide it from the Inazuman government. That "arrest" by Heizou somehow went too far... and to something much more...

The reason for his kidnapping? To be a play thing for Kunikuzushi, a vampire with a disagreeable personality and someone who is notorious for destroying everything he touches. As Kazuha looks for an opportunity to escape, despite how impossible it seems, he has to figure out a way to survive by playing and befriending the man or face being torn to pieces by him…..or the other residents.

This is not Kazuha’s first time taking a life, and as long as he lives with the blade by his side and life on the run, he will do it again. But as the body sinks beneath the waves, he sees Tomo instead of the man who has fatally maimed him.
And he leans over, reaching one bloody hand out to somehow save his friend. He stretches, trying to reach the raucous waves and pull Tomo out of the water. The wind whips his hair, propelling him further until his hips roll over the side, and he’s freefalling into the water.
It's only been a few months since Tomo's death, and Kazuha isn't taking it as well as he thinks he is. When push comes to shove, he makes a fatal mistake that almost costs him his life.

Kazuha straightened his stance and his eyebrows perked up at the sight of a tall blond in red and black sporting a ponytail, currently carrying a big steaming pot to a group of soldiers, who thanked him profusely. Kazuha blinked, suddenly realizing Beidou and Kokomi’s conversation had trailed off. He glanced away from the blond, clearing his throat, to see the two women side-eyeing him with smiles on their faces. Beidou’s was sly, with crinkled eyes, and Kokomi’s looked between excitement and holding back a giggle.
“What?” Kazuha stood akimbo.
