Caitlyn was grasping at straws. She had to come up with a plan, and quickly. She filtered through all her limited options. One idea popped into her head. An extremely stupid one. One she knew she would regret but before she could stop herself it was already out of her mouth.

She teams up with Vi, who just wants to find her sister after years of being forced apart. But will it be too late? Has it all ruptured far past the point of repair? Only time will tell.

sk8r boi caitvi au where during highschool, vi and caitlyn new each other and had a crush on each other but never confessed bc caitlyn’s friends and parents didn’t like vi and vi was too much of a coward (didn’t think she was good enough for caitlyn)
Vi had a naturally good voice and caitlyn told her accompanying it with an instrument would make for a pleasant combination and so it persuaded her to learn the guitar.
7 years later, they lost touch. Vi turned into a vocalist for a famous band (along with powder, ekko, claggor, and mylo.) they met again at one of Firelight’s (the band name) fansigns.
Caitlyn is now a journalist, Jayce and Viktor are engineers, and Mel owns the journalist company. (Viktor and vi keep in touch from time to time because they were from the same neighbourhood.)or

Caitlyn found herself frozen in place by the grey eyes of the handsome new employee.
Vi simply held out her hand and said “Nice to meet you Miss Kiramman. I look forward to working with you”.
Caitlyn flustered and suddenly hot stumbled over her words. “Yes, ummm great to see you, I mean likewise”.She nervously tucked her hair behind her ear, all the while aware that her cheeks were on fire.

The idea of letting… anyone from this side of town even peer under the hood of her beautiful baby is almost enough to make Caitlyn stroke out on the spot. She can’t imagine what they’d do to it. Some horrible whackjob, probably, where they forget to put the oil cap back on and charge her extra for breathing in their space. Or worse, try to gouge her into paying for things she didn’t need. The glimmer of hope in that dreary statement, though, is the fact that once it even moves again, she can hightail it out of here and take it straightaway to someone to look at it and put everything in place the way that she likes.
